I Have Questions. You Have Answers.

I had every intention of sitting down and writing something profound today. But heyyyy…. Life ke bophelo.
Instead, I have decided to outsource my thoughts to you.
So today, you are writing this blog post.
I have questions. You have answers. And somewhere in the comments, I suspect there is a very good conversation waiting to happen.
No long responses required. No carefully curated answers. don’t over think it, you can be serious, funny, dramatic, honest, vague, or completely unserious.
Just pick a question. Or answer all of them if you are feeling brave 😉
1. What is something you are grateful for that you don’t talk about enough?
Not the obvious “my family, my health, my job.”
I mean the tiny things.
A friend who always checks in.
A car that starts every morning.
A landlord who minds their business, God knows I am grateful for this.
Being able to sleep through the night.
That one meal you could eat every week because you can actually afford it.
What is yours?
2. What is something you used to think was a big deal… until you grew up?
I’ll go first:
There are things I used to lose sleep over that I now look back at and think, Girl. Stand up.
Your turn.
3. What is one thing adulthood has taught you that nobody warned you about?
And please don’t say “bills.”
We all know about the bills. 😂
I’m talking about the other things.
The emotional things. The weird things. The “why did nobody tell me this?” things.
4. What is something you have completely outgrown?
A friendship?
A habit?
A version of yourself?
A certain type of relationship?
A hairstyle? 😂
Tell me what you no longer have the energy for.
5. What is one thing you will never understand about other people?
Why do people feel I owe them?
Why do people feel so entitled?
Why?
Why are we like this?
6. What is something you want, but are too scared to admit you want?
Nobody is judging.
Well… the internet is always judging a little bit. But I won’t. Promise.
7. What is something you wish you could tell your younger self?
One sentence.
No speeches.
What would you say?
8. And finally…
What is something you think we should talk about more on this blog?
This is your chance to give me homework.
Tell me what you want to read about,
anything.
I’ve come to the end of today’s installation and if you made it to the end, I appreciate you so much!
I’ll see you in the comments. 😂
Love & light 🧡
