About me

Welcome to A Page in the Life!

I’ve been writing online since 2015, and like me, this blog has grown up a little along the way.

What started as one version of my life has evolved into a space for stories, observations, and conversations about the many ways we experience life, particularly through the lens of womanhood, work, motherhood, money, wellbeing, relationships, travel, food, culture, and everyday living.

Some posts are deeply personal. Others are simply things I’ve discovered, enjoyed, questioned or think you might find useful. You’ll find reflections alongside recommendations, experiences alongside practical finds, and the occasional “surely I’m not the only one?”

I’m writing from Zimbabwe, with an African perspective and a world beyond it in mind. Because while our experiences aren’t always the same, the feelings, questions, joys and little absurdities of being human often are.

A Page in the Life is for curious people who enjoy good stories, honest conversations and discovering something new.

And as the blog continues to grow, I’m also opening its pages to brands, businesses, creators and organisations that have something worth telling through thoughtful collaborations, content, storytelling, editing, publishing and communications.

The blog has changed. I have changed. The love of a good story hasn’t.

Welcome to the latest chapter.

Hello, I’m Fikile

Welcome to my thoughts, stories, and little life moments. The good ones, the confusing ones, and the ones that make me laugh later. Think of this space as casual conversations and honest reflections. So grab a glass (or whatever tickles your fancy) and dive right in.
