I had a moment…in an E.T

Hi. Yesterday something terrible happened. I was in the E.T (emtshoveni) going home. I sat at the second row by the door. Kahle kahle bengiphansi kwekhapha lika windi. Anyway, there was a guy behind me who complimented me. When he tapped me l thought it was someone passing the money going to the sliding door operator (uwindi). So l looked at him and he didn’t hand over any money. I turned back to my position. He tapped again and this time l was furious! I looked at him angrily and that is when l realised he was saying something. I had earphones on. Sorini. He complimented my hairstyle. Truth is when he said that l smiled, the anger was poof!!…gone. It is not everyday when l get random compliments, worse emtshoveni. No, actually it has never happenend.

So, l thanked him, with a smile and l turned back to my position. The windi gave me a look. The ‘siyakubona sisi’ kind of look. I switched off the music just in case maybe you know he wanted to compliment something again. I didn’t remove the earphones though, just ukulahlisa kuwindi obesengkhangele. We got to the point where l was about to drop off and l had lost hope lol.

To be continued…
